  • Survey and map banana distributions in Bali (specifically) and Indonesia (generally) using geospatial technology
  • Conduct local banana cultivars exploration, specimen and morphology data collections
  • Collect and study omics data of local banana cultivars
  • Build database of banana biogeography and biodiversity
  • Design new curriculum for developing Molecular Biology study program in UNUD
  • Organize and host national and international scientific meetings, workshops, symposiums and exhibitions
  • Strengthen collaboration in research and promote experts exchange from well-known overseas Universities and Research Centers
  • Support Bali Local Government to fulfil the demand of bananas by studies, research and innovations to improve production system of banana
  • Elevate the capacity of communities regarding the banana related knowledge through citizen scientist, trainings and workshops about participatory mapping and banana as source of functional food
  • Assist communities in developing small scale banana-based industries
  • Develop novel banana-based food products under collaboration with industries
