G.N. Alit Susanta Wirya is a senior researcher at the laboratory of plant pathology, Agriculture Faculty, Udayana University (UNUD). He received his Ph.D on plant pathology from The United Graduate School of Agricultural Science Gifu University, di Shizuoka, Japan. His research interests including plant pathology management and biological control of plant diseases. Currently, he is serving as the Secretary of the master program of Biotechnology – UNUD, member of the International Society for Southeast Asian Agricultural Sciences and the Association of Indonesian Phyto-pathologists. He was also involved in research of plant disease management by using biocontrol agent with Tokyo University of Agriculture, Ibaraki University – Japan and Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center (AVRDC).
