Dr. Suardi was born in Gianyar – Bali, 14 November 1960. He received bachelor in Agro-economy in 1985 from Udayana University (UNUD).  Then he completed master study in Communications of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bogor Institute of Agriculture, and doctoral study in Concentration of Agribusiness in 2015 from the program of Doctoral in Agricultural Science with the thesis entitled “Communication Strategy of Agricultural Development: The Case of Integrated Agricultural System Program in Bali Province”. In the last five years, he is involved in research projects of Preparation of Road Map for Increasing Production of Food Crops in Bali Province (2012); Preparation of Academic Paper of Ranperda of Sustainable Agriculture Land of Bali Province (2013); Communication Management Resources Model Extension in Implementation of Agricultural Development Program: in The Case of SIMANTRI in Bali Province (2014); and Model of Institutional Strengthening of Agriculture in the Effort of Land Protection of Food Agriculture in Bali Province (2016). He also has published in an international peer-reviewed journal: Utilization of Communication Strategy for Improving Communication Process of SIMANTRI Program in Province of Bali pada Journal of Research on Humanities and Sosial Sciences,  Vol. 5, No. 12,  2015.
